Seller disclosures...FSBO? - fsbo seller sell
Vendors (the house much it was, after his mother died 2 years ago) told us there was water damage in the basement, because of its roots in the sewer system between home and street.
They said the sewage was professionally cleaned, but shall not disclosed what was inside the house ... Replacement of carpets, wall coverings replaced, cleaned, checked, and so on. They simply say that it is "conservative".
They sell the house "as is", but I was wondering, since water damage, you told us not to disclose what was done to repair the interior of the house?
We will come to an inspector, but of course you can not tear the walls to check the damage. Did you see BeABLE whether it mold / water behind the panels crud? And if the seller is not only a half @ ss job of cleaning and painting and recarpeted patches.
I feel nothing in the basement, just a new paint and cleaning products
